Birmingham man jailed after rape in Coventry

A Birmingham man found guilty of rape after an attack in Coventry has been given an indeterminate prison sentence.

Nathaniel Belgrave, 25, of Fordfield Road, Birmingham, was also convicted of wounding and robbery.

A 44-year-old woman, who was found at an address in Coundon in October 2009, suffered a suspected fractured skull.

Belgrave was sentenced at Warwick Crown Court and told it would be at least 10 years before he is eligible for parole.
