A young man gatecrashed an 18th birthday party and then stabbed two teenagers who had refused to be pushed around by him - and then bragged about it on Instagram.

Tyreece Swaby had been forced to the floor and then sat on by this two soon-to-be victims after he had become drunk and started looking for trouble.

Having been "humiliated" by what had happened, Swaby went out to his car where he armed himself with a knife and returned to the marque at a home near Kenilworth and stabbed one of the young men.

He required emergency surgery in hospital and had to have part of his intestines removed.

Swaby, 19, wasn't finished though and also stabbed the second young man before fleeing from the scene.

Not content with having inflicted serious injuries to his victim, Swaby took to Instagram to boast about what he had done.

Swaby, of Bowls Court, Spon End, had denied two charges of wounding with intent, but was found guilty of both offences following a trial at Warwick Crown Court.

He was given an extended prison sentence after the judge ruled him to be a dangerous offender and the judge also dismissed Swaby's stance that he had only been convicted as he is a "young black man".

The judge said he had also told the jury he "did not care" how his victims had recovered or how they were.

The extended sentence means he will serve at least six years of a nine-year jail term before the Parole Board will even consider freeing him, and once released will be on licence for the rest of that period and for an additional three years.
