There will be no garden waste collections all week
Bin collections in Coventry have been suspended today due to snow and ice.
Coventry City Council has said it is aiming for collections to resume tomorrow (Wednesday, January 27).
However to enable waste crews to catch up on missed rounds, garden waste collections will be cancelled this week.
A council spokesman said: “Bin collections have been suspended today due to the snow and icy conditions.
"Weather permitting, collections will resume tomorrow and we will collect the bins missed from today throughout this week.
“To enable us to catch up on missed green and blue lidded bins, garden waste collections have been suspended for the rest of the week. We would like to thank people for their patience.”
