A woman has been accused of assaulting her disabled partner with a raw steak after an argument over bread.
According to a Marion County Sheriff's Office report, the man told officers that 55-year-old Elsie Egan had repeatedly hit him with the meat following the dispute.
He explained that he refused a slice of bread with his meal because he wanted a roll instead, The AP reports.
Egan denied hitting the man with a steak but admitted to slapping him "so that he could learn".
She was charged with abuse of a disabled adult and released on a $2,500 (£1,535) bond. She is to appear in court in January.
