Warwickshire Police is to change the uniforms of its frontline staff.
From Monday, officers, specials constables and police community support officers will wear dark-coloured tops, rather than traditional white shirts.
All officers required to wear body armour will wear black zip-up tops while community support officers will wear blue polo shirts.
The new tops have had a trial period and the police force said their had been no criticism.
Officers and community support officers not involved in front line duties will continue to wear white shirts.
