Nuneaton Town go top after Gainsborough win

Nuneaton Town moved top of the Blue Square Bet North with a 2-1 win at Gainsborough, a result which stretched their unbeaten run to 14 league games.



Boro took the lead in the first half through Adam Walker.

Midfielder Mark Noon doubled the visitors' lead just before the break with a powerful header.

Gainsborough pulled a goal back in the second half through a Leon Mettam volley but could not prevent Nuneaton's fifth consecutive away victory.
