Student Accommodation to assimilate Theatre One

Theatre One ... the cinema where your feet stuck to the squelchy carpets.

It had a lot more character before the outside was clad in aluminium:



It's rare for an old cinema to be completely demolished but I can see that entire area becoming student accommodation following the building of the city college.

Thinking aloud, I do wonder the wisdom of this just as University costs are set to increase. I'd like to think the Cov Uni have adequate plans in place to bring in sufficient numbers of students; but...
