Woman, 91, injured in hit-and-run crash in Southam

A 91-year-old pedestrian was injured in Warwickshire when she was hit by a van which failed to stop.



The woman suffered a head injury and her ankles were thought to have been broken when she was hit at about 1415 GMT on Monday.

She was taken to Warwick Hospital and later transferred to the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire.

Warwickshire Police believe a red van was involved and have appealed for witnesess to come forward.
