They were previously known as the civic bonfire events
Preparations are being put in place ahead of two of Nuneaton and Bedworth's biggest bonfire events. The Nuneaton and Bedworth Charity Bonfire and Fireworks nights were previously known as the civic bonfires.
Nuneaton Round Table and Bedworth Lions stepped in to run the events, after the council withdrew its funding several years ago, with the help of local businesses and sponsorship. Now they are putting the final preparations in place for this year's events.
Both will take place on Saturday November 4, with the Nuneaton event returning to the grounds at the Jubilee Sports Centre. Bedworth's will be held at the Miner’s Welfare Park and the displays at both will be provided by Jonathan's Fireworks.
