Two men stabbed during 'violent' early hours attack in Coventry

Police were called to City Arcade



Two men were left seriously injured after being stabbed in Coventry. It happened in the early hours of Sunday, August 27.

Police say the two victims suffered hand and face injuries in the attack at City Arcade. Officers say the incident happened between 5.30am and 6.30am.

Leopole Harris, 33, was arrested on Sunday, August 27. He was charged with two counts of wounding and was due to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday, August 29).

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We have charged a 33-year-old man with wounding after two men were stabbed in Coventry this weekend. Leopole Harris was arrested on Sunday, August 27 after an incident in City Arcade in the early hours.

“Two men suffered hand and face injuries and Harris will appear before magistrates in Coventry today (Tuesday, August 29) charged with two counts of wounding. He was remanded in custody until his court hearing.”
