Motocross rider dies in accident in Coventry

A man has died after coming off his motocross bike at a track in Coventry.

Ambulance crews were called to a motocross track on London Road, in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, shortly after 1300 BST on Sunday.

A man who had come off his bike had suffered multiple injuries and was in cardiac arrest, a spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, but was confirmed dead shortly afterwards.
