A law firm in London has launched Christmas "divorce vouchers".
Reuters reports that Lloyd Platt & Company has sold over 60 of the vouchers since launching them last week.
The firm, which normally charges £325 an hour, is selling each voucher for £125. The gift entitles the recipient to half an hour of advice from a divorce lawyer.
The company's founder Vanessa Lloyd Platt said: "They seem to appeal to an enormously widespread section of people looking for that 'must have' gift for Christmas."
However, a spokesperson for the Church of England remarked: "Divorce is a very personal matter and not really suitable for the idea of gift vouchers, which are presents from other people."
