Vandals trash gardens and kick car wing mirror off during 'drunken' outburst

CCTV has captured vandals trashing garden flowers and kicking a car wing mirror off in Coventry. Footage shows three young men causing a nuisance in Coundon on Wednesday night (May 4).

Speaking to CoventryLive, resident John McDevitt said the three 'drunken' men began their damage spree at around 9.30pm. He said: “They walked down Tamworth Road from Coundon Park direction and then a few minutes later walked back up towards the park from The Old Shepherd pub direction.

"They decided to trash some garden flowers, boot a few doors, before kicking a car door mirror off. Not sure what they may have done after this video caught them.“

John said this type of 'drunken behaviour' becomes common within the neighbourhood during the summer months. He said: “Their behaviour is not acceptable and sadly it is a common thing from May to September when nights are light and Coundon Park is full of groups all drinking. This is why CCTV was installed.“
