Parts of Vernons Lane and Beaumont Road were sealed off for around an hour
Armed police swooped on a home in Nuneaton following suspected drug dealing arrests in Coventry.
Parts of Vernons Lane and Beaumont Road were sealed off for around an hour last night (October 12) as officers executed a warrant in Vernons Lane.
Officers stopped people from being able to walk down or travel through the area.
CoventryLive asked Warwickshire Police about the incident and a spokesman confirmed it was linked to drugs arrests in Coventry earlier in the day.
In a statement, the spokesman said: "Officers stopped a vehicle in Coventry around 3.15pm and carried out a search with a quantity of suspected drugs, cash and mobile phones being seized.
"A 47-year-old man from Nuneaton, a 44-year-old woman from Nuneaton, a 25-year-old man from Coventry and a 29-year-old man from Coventry were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
"At around 5pm a warrant was executed at a property on Vernons Lane in Nuneaton where a 31-year-old man from Nuneaton was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug."
