Bin collection update - Tuesday 9 February
There will be no bin collection today due to the snow and icy conditions. If you were due a collection today please leave your bins out and we will try to get back out as the conditions improve this week.
Garden waste collection has been suspended for this week. Please take your brown-lidded bins back in. This is so, when the conditions allow, our crews can catch up on missed green-lidded and blue-lidded bins.
Thanks for your patience.

Bin collection catch-up in Nuneaton and Bedworth after snow delays
Bin crews are set to play catch-up after some were not emptied due to the snow.
Parts of the Raywoods and Bermuda in Nuneaton were missed out on the recycling collections yesterday (February 9).
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council had asked householders to be patient as crews attempted to tackle the icy roads.
But, a post on the Town Hall's page on Facebook, yesterday afternoon said not all recycling collections were made.
It said those who had been missed should leave their bins out so they can be emptied today.
"Due to snowy conditions this morning where our recycling crews are based, recycling collections started later than usual and could not be completed today," the post read.
"Please leave your bin presented if you have been affected. Black and green bin collections have completed as normal."

Bins uncollected since Christmas
People in Coventry who have been waiting since Christmas to have their recycling bins emptied have been told the council will "throw everything" at the problem.
The head of waste at Coventry City Council, Sarah Elliott said snow and ice had caused bin collectors to miss a whole day's work.
And with 30 rounds every day, it had taken a big effort to catch up.
People waiting to have their brown bins emptied have been asked to put them out with their green bins (general waste) next week.
And Ms Elliott said she accepted "it's absolutely not ideal and absolutely not something we'd want to be carrying on any further."
