Possible shooting Henley Green

Picked up on social media a little while ago, possibly Broadpark Rd area.

Shooting in Coventry linked to gang activity



Two men were arrested by armed police after a suspected gang-related shooting in Coventry.

Police were alerted to a suspected gang clash in Watcombe Road in Henley Green yesterday (Sunday, September 13) at around 4.20pm.

It is believed that a gun was fired at a car.

Initial reports suggested that a man on an e-scooter was being pursued by a black Audi.

It is alleged that the Audi driver attempted to ram the scooter, before the scooter rider is alleged to have opened fire at the vehicle.

Armed police were called to the scene, and in less than an hour, the Audi was found at a petrol station on the A45, where two men were arrested.

Both men remain in police custody, on suspicion of attempted wounding.

The vehicle was found to have gunshot damage and was seized for forensic examination.
