A toy shop in Coventry that specialises in dolls houses and teddy bears has announced its closure.

Cejais Teddy Bears & Dolls Houses on Spon Street in the city centre has been trading for around 20 years.

Claiming they are "Coventry's oldest and most famous specialist bear and dolls house shop", the business is due to close at the end of March.

This is not the first store on the street to announce closure, with Butterfly Bras also having closing signs in the windows.

It was still open when I passed it this afternoon and a sign said the shop fittings including display cabinets are for sale if anyone is interested?

The former Recruiting Sergeant pub is now deserted having been used most recently as an art gallery. Rowland's butcher's shop remains empty while one part of Magnifique hair salon is available to rent.
