Police discovered the body on parkland off Waste Lane in Balsall Common



A body has been found on parkland in Coventry this afternoon.

Officers found the body on land off Waste Lane in Balsall Common.

While no formal identification has been made, West Midlands Police believe it is the body of missing 24-year-old Hayley Workman.

Hayley was last seen collecting her belongings from the Caludon Centre yesterday (January 9).

Police launched an appeal, urging anyone who had seen her to get in touch, and said they were ‘extremely concerned for her welfare’.

Her family have been informed.
