BMW and Audi targeted as car thieves strike in Coventry

A gang who had already stolen one car, then tried to nick another, but ended up leaving with neither.

A group of men were in a stolen BMW when they approached a man in Electric Wharf, Radford, and tried to steal his Audi Quattro.

The victim was assaulted by the thieves who then took the keys to the Audi and tried to drive off in both cars.

However, they ended up abandoning both vehicles after failing to get through car park security gates and left the scene on foot.

The cars were recovered by police following the incident at around 11.45pm on Monday, December 17.
