Under-cover cops caught him in the Stockingford area of town
A drug dealer who set-up a mini crack den in Nuneaton has been jailed.
Under-cover cops from the Offender Management Unit (OMU) arrested Samuel Meshak Pedro, aged 37, of Gristhorpe Road, Birmingham, in Church Road.
The team were out on patrol on July 25 when they spotted Pedro leaving a house on Church Road they suspected was being used for drug dealing.
As they approached him and said they were police officers, he threw away four grams of cannabis wrapped in cling film.
Pedro was arrested and a search of the area uncovered the cannabis.
Following his arrest, officers seized a key to a flat on Grove Road.
They searched the flat and found crack cocaine with an estimated value between £600 and £1,000, scales, and cash.
Appearing at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on 26 July, Pedro pleaded guilty to possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis.
He then faced the bench at Warwickshire Crown Court on Friday (August 24) when he was sentenced to 32 months in prison.
