Woman assaulted on bus travelling through Coventry

Police have released a CCTV image as they investigate a woman being assaulted on a bus in Coventry.

The woman was assaulted while travelling on the no.13 bus as it travelled on St James Lane towards Willenhall Community Primary School, between 8.20pm and 9pm on Saturday, June 16.

In their bid to find out what happened, officers have published an image of a man they believe could have vital information regarding the incident.

A spokesman for Coventry Police said: "The man is described as white, slim, 6ft and aged around 30 to 35 years old.

"At the time, he was wearing a distinctive patterned white t-shirt and we think he may hold vital information.

"Call PCSO Louise Palmer or PCSO Sharon Courtney in the Safer Travel team on 101 if you have information."
