"Company to double in size after China deal"

An engineering firm based in Coventry is to double its size, by expanding into China



Expert Tooling and Automation, which makes car-building machinery at its plants in Coventry and the north east, is opening a 200,000 sq ft plant in Hefei, in the Anhui province.

It's expected the new plant will employ about 200 staff by the end of 2019, doubling the current workforce.

The new plant will boost electric vehicle production in China, the company said.

And people in Coventry are supposed to be pleased about that are they?
