It was the third stabbing in Coventry the space of just 12 days
A 16-year-old boy arrested after a man was stabbed in Coventry city centre has been released by police.
The teenager will face no further action in connection with the attack in Trinity Street, near to the Millennium View student accommodation, on Friday, February 23.
A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his arm following the incident at around 9pm, according to police.
The 16-year-old was originally arrested on suspicion of wounding and released on bail.
Today, West Midlands Police has said no further action will be taken against him.
The incident was the third stabbing in Coventry the space of just 12 days in February.
There were two stabbings in Far Gosford Street on February 11 and 15, with both attacks leaving someone in hospital.
No arrests were made in either case.
