They frogmarched their victim to a cashpoint in a bid to get money
Balaclava-clad robbers frogmarched their victim to a cashpoint in a bid to get money during a 'frightening' attack in Bedworth .
An 18-year-old, who has not been identified, was along Field View Close when he was grabbed from behind by a man.
The suspect, who was with two other men, searched the teenager's pockets and took his bank card. He then threatened the teen to give his pin number.
A silver car then pulled up and one of the suspects got in, leaving the scene with the victim's bank card while the other two stayed with the victim.
Around five minutes later, the car returned and one of the suspects stated the bank card had notworked. The men tried to take the victim in the car to another cash point, but he refused.
They then walked him to the ESSO garage on Coventry Road to try his card in the ATM and at the shop counter. The card did not work and no money was withdrawn.
Once again, the car turned up at the garage and the robbers left with the victim's debit card, iPhone earphones, a black Fred Perry jacket and some of his money.
Police are now keen to trace the quartet and two of them have been described as being black and were wearing balaclavas, and another was described as Asian.
All four spoke with Birmingham accents.
