A 19-year old man had a remote control removed from his bottom after his flatmates wedged it up him when he passed out.
Doctors at Hunan Hangtian Hospital spotted the device on X-rays when Huang Chen arrived after a drinking session in Changsha, southern China, Metro reports.
Dr Wei Lung Zhi said: "We didn't know what it was to start with. There was a little bit of blood but he didn't say anything about a remote control.
"We couldn't quite believe it when we saw the X-ray. He will be fine in time, but the remote was a write off."
Earlier this year, doctors in Shanghai discovered a six-inch knife blade that had been left in a woman's bottom for four months following an attack.
