Inquiry over River Sowe incident

Inquiries are under way into the leak of chemicals into a Warwickshire river.

There have been no reports of environmental damage after leaks into the River Sowe.

The Environment Agency said it had been alerted last week that water coming out of a sewerage plant in Finham was of poor quality.

Experts have been monitoring the water but have seen no evidence of adverse environment impact. A spokeswoman said inquiries were continuing.
