Caravans arrived at around 11.30am on Monday morning
Travellers moved onto a club car park and grassland in Coventry earlier today.
A handful of caravans have parked up on the car park of the Walsgrave Club, in Narberth Way, as well as on land in neighbouring Elizabeth Way.
West Midlands Police say they are aware of the caravans, which arrived at around 11.30am, and officers have been to visit the site.
The Telegraph has also contacted Coventry council to find out their involvement, if any, following the travellers’ arrival.

Travellers at illegal camp in Coventry given 24 hours to leave
A group of travellers who set up camp on a club car park in Coventry have been given 24 hours to leave the site.
A number of caravans arrived on the car park of the Walsgrave Club, in Narberth Way, as well as on land in neighbouring Elizabeth Way, on Tuesday morning.
Police and council officers attended the scene and the usual legal process got underway.
A spokesman for Coventry City Council told the Telegraph that an eviction order has now been served on the travellers giving them until 3pm on Thursday to leave the site.
The group are the latest to illegally set up camp on part of Coventry , with travellers using land on public parks, hospitals, and car parks as a temporary home.
One group were even accused of removing “anti-traveller barriers” to gain access to War Memorial Park.
