Warning after vandals scratch paintwork on cars in three Coventry streets

One of the victims now faces a repair bill of around £300

A number of cars were vandalised in the Stoke area of Coventry at the weekend.

Residents woke to find their cars had been scratched in Avon Street, Shakespeare Street and Stratford Street on Saturday night.

One victim is believed to have a repair bill of around £300 due to the damage.

Police said they had received one report of a Seat Ibiza being targeted by vandals in Avon Street on Saturday and are urging anyone with information to call them on 101.
