MPs voted in favour of military action yesterday, with four RAF Tornado jets deployed shortly after the motion carried - and eight more are set to follow today.
A total of 397 MPs voted for military action while 223 voted against, with the region's MPs almost unanimously backing the action.
Two Coventry MPs, Colleen Fletcher (Lab Coventry North East) and Geoffrey Robinson (Lab Coventry North West), voted in favour.
Alongside them, eight Conservative MPs from the region - including those from Warwick and Leamington, North Warwickshire and Bedworth, Nuneaton, Rugby, Meriden, Solihull, Stratford-on-Avon, and Kenilworth and Southam - voted in favour.
Only Jim Cunningham MP, Labour's representative for Coventry South, was opposed.
