armed shop raid

on the 1st of april (yeh yeh i know) the shop that i work at was raided by 3 males about 20-25 all armed with extendable metal battons both me and the femail manager were hit over the head requiring stiches. i was a bit foolish in a jeark reaction i grabed one around the neck as they were leaving and put him though 2 displays beffore taking him to the ground in a choke hold (i wouldnt have let go untill he stoped moving) when one of the other robbers hit me over the back of the head as i have tuned around he has hit me another 4 times spliting my head open.

havent got them yet and the police dont think they will (they left verry little evidence)
dont think it was reported in the paper but it might have had a paragraph somwhere this happens too much for the papers to care about all of them.
im fit ass a fiddle now just feel like i have been hit by a bus, i dont think it was brave more stupid but i didnt think just reacted.

One question that comes to mind, I presume that CCTV is not installed in the shop??

thank you all for your very kind words. the shop has 16 cameras but all 3 thugs were covered quite well so theres not much evidence to help with identifying any of them. im all stiched up and healing well
