Complaint made to the British Board of Film Classification

The 1957 BBC adaptation of The Railway Children was one of the first TV programmes I ever saw after arriving in Coventry. It was a lot darker and grittier than any of the versions made since. I can remember being traumatised by it and having a healthy fear of railway lines ever since.
