Coventry Household Survey 2013

Coventry City Council and NHS Coventry are undertaking a survey of over 2000 randomly selected residents.

The households selected to take part in the survey will be asked questions about living in their neighbourhood, and in Coventry, alongside questions about their health and well-being.

The research will be undertaken by an independent agency, BMG research, and households will be approached at the door. The researchers will be easily identified as genuine by blue jackets with the BMG Research logo shown with photo ID, and will be carrying letters of authorisation from Coventry City Council and NHS Coventry.

Cllr John Mutton, Leader of Coventry City Council, said the survey would encourage local people to shape future policies.

He said: "The survey will enable the Coventry City Council and NHS Coventry to analyse valuable information, which will contribute to services being more effectively delivered where they are required, and help to prioritise important issues in the future."

The results will be collated and analysed by a team at the Council and the University of Warwick, with the names and identities of those surveyed being kept confidential.
