Police release CCTV images of Bedworth shop robbery

Police have released CCTV images of a robbery at a Bedworth food shop.

Officers want to hear from anyone with information about the offender, who walked into the Bedworth Food and Wine shop in Goodyers End Lane, on Monday, October 29.

The man, seen in the CCTV images, took cigarettes from off the shelf before putting them into a distinctive black bag.

When confronted he produced a large knife which he threatened the store owner with before leaving.

He then ran to a nearby alleyway where he got onto a pushbike and rode away.

DC Dean Clark, in the Local Investigations team at Nuneaton, would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the images or has any information which would help with the investigation.
