Wed Jul 18, 2012 2:13 pm

Police are appealing for help to find a man who has been missing from his Coventry home for a week.

Martin Melia was expected back at his home in Almond Tree Avenue, Wood End, last Tuesday evening (July 10) after work but he did not return.

The following day, Martin, aged 43, said he would return home soon, but has not made contact with anyone since.

His family and police are now increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Martin is described as white, stocky and around 5ft 11ins with short shaved brown hair.

He is clean shaven and speaks with a Midlands accent.

He was last seen wearing blue Adidas bottoms, a grey hooded jacket and grey or blue Nike trainers.

Anyone who may have seen Martin can call Coventry Police on 101.
