Shoppers in Kenilworth are being urged to support local traders and help mark Independents' Day on Wednesday (July 4).
People across the country are being encouraged to buy at least one item from their local, independent shops to celebrate Independents’ Day 2012.
Kenilworth Town Centre Management and Kenilworth Chamber of Trade are working together to fly the flag for local retailers in Kenilworth.
And to help free parking is being offered at Abbey End and Square West car parks to those visiting Kenilworth on the day
Town mayor George Illingworth said: “I never fail to be amazed at what you can buy in Kenilworth with its wide range of independent shops. Take the opportunity to explore them and see for yourself what they can offer.”
In addition to the wide variety of businesses already trading in Kenilworth, there will be an additional Handmade & Craft Market operating in Abbey End.
