Caribbean BBQ and fun days to take place at Xcel Centre

Tastes of the Caribbean will arrive in Coventry for a series of free summer barbecues and fun days, starting next month.



The free family friendly events will be hosted by the Xcel Centre once a month for three months in the grounds of the leisure centre in Mitchell Avenue, Canley.

They will feature a Caribbean-themed barbecue and other hot food and refreshments.

Entertainment also includes donkey rides and a six-a-side football tournament for under 12s.

The first family fun day takes place on Sunday, July 8, from 2pm until 9pm.

The following two fun days will be held at the same times on Sunday, August 5, and Sunday, September 2.
