Appeal for witnesses after woman assaulted in Alcester

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them after a woman was assaulted in Alcester.

The attack happened in the Malt Mill Lane area of the town at about 12.30pm on Tuesday May 29.

The victim, a 56-year-old woman, did not know her attacker and had to receive hospital treatment for her injuries.

Police in Warwickshire are asking anyone who saw the incident in the Malt Mill Lane area or the nearby recreation ground to contact them.
