Emmaus charity give away furniture in Foleshill

Emmaus will be holding its Freebay Day in Foleshill this weekend to give away furniture and household items to a good home.

The charity, which supports homeless people by providing accommodation and a job if they give up all benefits, will be hosting the event on Saturday at its shop in Red Lane, Foleshill.

It will run from 11am-5pm and items are available on a first come first served basis.

Emmaus’s Karen Walters said: “Most items are snapped up really quickly.”
