Warwick cat lovers are invited to the Mid Warwickshire Branch of Cats Protection annual spring fayre tomorrow (Saturday) from 1.30–3.30pm at the All Saints Church Contact Centre.
The event will be opened by Big Paw, the branch mascot, and will feature a tombola and raffle draw. There will also be stalls selling books, crafts, cakes and Cats Protection merchandise.
Entrance is a £1 donation, or alternatively a bag of donated clothes or bric-a-brac for the charity shop. All money raised from the event goes directly towards paying for vet bills and food for the many cats the branch looks after.
More than £500 was raised at last year’s spring fayre and event organisers hope to raise even more this year. Chris Osborne, co-ordinator of the branch, said: “As a popular fixture in the mid Warwickshire events calendar, it promises to be fun for all ages and we hope that everyone will have a good time.”
