Police Hunt Coventry Jewellery Thief

Police are trying to find a man who stole £4,000 of jewellery in Coventry.

Four bracelets were taken from HT Pawnbrokers in Shelton Square on Monday January 30 at around 5pm.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, slim build and approximately 35 – 40 years of age with short brown hair. He was wearing spectacles a long dark coat, with dark blue jeans and a black baseball cap.

PC Tony Sedgley, from Coventry police station, said: “We are appealing for any information that will help us identify the man. We are extremely keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

“The man visited the store twice on the same day, on his second visit he went behind the counter and stole four valuable bracelets.”
