Last night was the coldest night of the year in Coventry and Warwickshire, with experts warning it could get even colder.
Temperatures were as low as -6C in some rural areas overnight.
On Friday it could get as cold as -10C.
The Met Office’s David Williams said we could see snow as well:
“At the weekend there’s a reasonable chance we could see it.
“We have a weather system moving in from the west from the Atlantic, which is going to come up against this cold air here in the UK.
“We’re keeping a close eye on it.”
