Murder inquiry after woman's body found in Coventry

Police have launched a murder investigation in Coventry after the body of a woman was discovered.

West Midlands Police were called to a property on Trentham Road in the Stoke area of the city at about 08:10 GMT by the ambulance service.

Two men, one aged 50 and the other 54, were arrested at the scene.

In a statement, police said the pair remained in custody and that a post mortem on the woman's body would be carried out on Saturday.
