A motorist has been killed when his car left and road and crashed into a quarry in Warwickshire.
The driver, who has not yet been named by police, was declared dead at the scene of the accident on the A426 Rugby Road near Southam.
A police spokesman said a blue Renault Clio travelling from Rugby towards Southam left the road and collided with some trees before going down an embankment into a quarry.
Witnesses who saw the Renault on the A426 are urged to contact Pc Mick Hogan, of Warwickshire Police, on 01926 415415.
