Two men jailed for life for Warks garden murder

Two men have been convicted of murdering a Warwickshire man found critically ill in a garden.



Ranjit Singh (pictured)- who was also known as Bitu, was rushed to hospital with severe head injuries but died the morning after he was discovered at Mawnan Close in Exhall last June.

He never regained consciousness.

A jury has found both 51-year old Onkar Singh Chhokar from Mawnan Close and 55-year old Balkar Singh Chima, from The Copse in Exhall guilty of murder and GBH.

A judge has given them a life sentence with a minimum of 16 years in prison.
