Fire service reduces test to make entry easier for women

It's just an excuse to replace skilled, well-paid firemen with less-skilled, less-well paid "firefighters".

If the government had its way the entire fire service would be staffed with unpaid, part-time volunteers!

In the meantime they completely ignore the growing army of fit young men who have never worked a day since leaving school.
