The man who spent a week in a perspex box above Broadgate in Coventry last year’s back there this weekend for a big new charity challenge.

Stuart Kettell’s putting himself inside a human hamster wheel on Sunday at 12 midday, where he’ll run the equivalent of a marathon each day to raise thousands of pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The wheel’s set on a see-saw, with a huge hamster pot on the other end – with a certain amount of donations needed to tilt the balance (as illustrated above).
Stuart said: “The bank have weighed me about £8,000 in various denominations of coins and told me what that weighs.”
“We’ve designed the see-saw so it tips when it reaches that amount of money – until it does, I keep running a marathon every day.”
“I don’t know whether I can do any more than 7 – the Coventry public were amazing when I was locked up in that box in Broadgate, so if they’re as generous again, I won’t be running for more than a week!”
You can find out more about the challenge here and donate money to Stuart’s appeal here.
