Attackers target a man and two pet dogs in Bedworth

A man and two pet dogs have been attacked at a house in Bedworth.



The attack happened at about 2100 GMT on Sunday in Chapel Street, and police are now appealing for witnesses.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said two men, one armed with a hammer and the other with a knife, forced their way into the house.

He added the men left in what police believe to be a black Vauxhall Astra. The injured man was treated at the George Eliot Hospital.
