The man behind the appearance of a herd of plastic pigs in Warwickshire next to the M40 has come forward.
Seventy black and white pigs appeared in a circle formation in a field by the motorway near Gaydon on 5 December, without any obvious explanation.
Their appearance caused many people to contact BBC Coventry and Warwickshire which ran an appeal for information.
Businessman Simon Jones told the station he had done it "as a bit of fun" to advertise his online stock.
Mr Jones used to sell the pigs in his interior design shop in Clifford Chambers, near Stratford-upon-Avon, but said he had been forced to close it down during the recession.
Some drivers who noticed the display said it had cheered them up, others said it might be distracting.
Warwickshire Police said it had no safety concerns about display.
