Snowy footprints lead to Coventry burglary arrest

A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after police tracked footprints in the snow.



Officers received reports of two break-ins and a man acting suspiciously in Gaydon Close, Wood End, Coventry, at 0140 GMT on Tuesday.

Police said dogs tracked footprints from an to a bush where a 28-year-old man was found.

After a short chase the man was arrested and later taken to hospital for a minor dog bite injury.
