A change has been made for bin collections for certain streets in Nuneaton and Bedworth next week. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has made an announcement about its collection at the start of next week.

This is due to the forecast hot weather, which could see temperatures across the borough rise to 29C. To reduce the amount of time refuse teams are out in the heat, the collection times are being made earlier.

From Monday (August 11) to Wednesday (August 13) all bin collections - be it general, recycling or green waste - will start from 6am rather than 7am. This means that those due for a collection need to have their bins out for collection from 6am.

The council explained: "Refuse crews will be collecting all bins, general, recycling and garden waste, from 6am, rather than 7am, on Monday, 11 August, until Wednesday, 13 August.

"Please ensure your bin is presented by 6am on the day of collection. Residents are thanked for their co-operation."
